I’m on the cover of the June 2012 issue of Chalk Magazine!!!
Okay, that’s not my picture on the cover but my name is on it. Woohoo! Plus I think the font of my name is a bit bigger than that dude’s name on the cover #mwahaha! Anyway, I wrote up an article in their lifestyle section about dating. I had a lot of fun writing for them so I hope I get a chance to do it again. Also, I’ll be giving away some magazine copies sometime next week so keep checking back. You can find the magazine in your friendly neighborhood convenience store or the nearest Fullybooked! Now go get one please

The Avengers fever has officially become global. Everyone is still talking about it! There is more hype than ever for the Avengers 2 as well as the superheroes’ individual movies. Even Hollywood is going crazy looking to produce more book-to-movie and comic-to-movie adaptations. It’s a telling sign of things to come and of course, a good way to celebrate all of this superhero craziness is to help Fully Booked celebrate Free Comic Book Day on Sunday May 19, 2012!
For those of you who are hearing this for the first time, this is not a local gimmick but rather a popularly celebrated event for comic lovers around the world. It is on its fifth year and it looks to be heading into it with a lot of momentum! Personally, I think a lot more people will be interested given that movies have allowed these superheroes to reac ha more mainstream audience. Heck, even I’ve been sucked into the world of comics somewhat as I scour the internet for backstories on the heroes that showed up in the movies. I also researched a bit on who the next villain is in the sequel! (check the bonus scene at the end of the movie)
Moving back to the event, participating doesn’t get any easier. Just drop by your friendly neighborhood Fully Booked and you are automatically entitled to a FREE comic! You don’t even need to buy anything. It’s the ultimate kind of freebie! You know you want it!;) Fully Booked will be distributing an exclusive DC Comics sample plus other premium items.
Also, Comic Odyssey will open on the 4th floor of Fully Booked BGC! It’s going to be a comic frenzy so why not join in on the fun.
Free Comic Book Day at Fully Booked begins when their branches open on May 19, 2012. FullyBooked offers 20% off on all graphic novel and manga purchases for that day

It’s the middle of summer and everyday seems to get hotter and hotter. We sweat as soon as we step out of the shower, it’s impossible to walk outdoors without getting burnt and our clothes always feel sticky and annoying yet with all the complaints and problems we have with the heat, once we hit the beach, we just forget about everything else. Nobody can blame us because our country just looks that magnificent. Just look around the internet and you’ll find that most of the beaches, vacation spots and scenic pictures usually come from our magnificent tropical paradises. It’s not even singular for our country—we have a lot of places to show off! For us Filipinos, finding paradise is a regular event and just to be able to say that says so much about what we have to be thankful for. The following are just a few examples of what we have to offer. Continue reading →
10 Facts from Behind-the-scenes of My Beloved by Mikael Daez
Viewers see us on television yet our real selves are never really seen by the public. I myself have my own experiences with the members of the cast. I think, to some extent, it’s good to share a little bit of ourselves sometimes. Here are little facts that I’ve come to discover during my work on My Beloved: Continue reading →
In my opinion, modeling has to be one of the most misunderstood jobs. There are so many negative stereotypes that prevail over the industry which distort how society perceives it. Some say the industry produces bad role models because they promote unhealthy lifestyles. Others assume that all models have no intellectual capacity because their job only requires physical gifts. Another problem that society points out is that they are reckless and party too much which makes them irresponsible. It’s really sad to admit the reality that modeling is looked down upon by many because there are actually a lot wonderful things that come out of it. Continue reading →
I have been unforgivingly delinquent with my blog posts but there is just so much going on at the moment. Nevertheless, I will strive to be better and regularly update. Since I have been gone for a bit over a week, I owe it to everyone to post something huge!!! So, this is it! I would like to introduce the second episode of my Uncut series! I ran into a few more road bumps than i expected. There were production, editing and organizational issues but let’s put that behind us and learn from it. For now, I hope you enjoy the video because a lot of people have been waiting for this.

When i was younger, my family always had at least one trip to baguio. i was always so excited for those trips because it was always cold, i’d get to wear a jacket all day and i’d get to play minigolf in john hay oh, and i was also excited to see the fog and do the “white trail”! hehe. Surprisingly, the more i think about it, the more memories start rushing back.
I am 24 years old. Acting is my primary job and i do so very willingly for GMA network. As a byproduct of this, i also continue to do photoshoots, host, and do other things related to my main line of work. Aside from all that, i also WRITE. (duh.. i do have a blog diba?) And, just like acting, it isn’t something i thought i would ever do. I was hit or miss with my essays and papers when i was going to school. Most of the time, i would end up cramming my written projects at the very last second! Seriously.. I would be in the computer lab and come in my class 15 minutes late because i was busy writing the last few paragraphs of my double spaced, verdana font paper. i used those settings because they took up the most space on paper and we did have page requirements in school! (c’mon, most of us do this haha. although i bet some of you didnt know verdana was a fat font hehe)
Anyway, before i stray from my point, I had no idea i was going to be writing! It was never a goal of mine and i had never pursued it until it fell on my lap in the middle of last year. To prove my point, i was fixing my room awhile ago and found a small piece of paper that proves that my being in the writing business is came out of nowhere!
